Your order will be processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days of payment clearing, when stock is available.

For all items on pre-order - these will be shipped as soon as they are available. You will receive an email update once items arrive and again when the items have shipped. 

Please take care entering your shipping address correctly because a further standard applicable postage fee will be incurred to resend your package to the correct address should it not be able to be delivered.

We are using compostable shipping bags for all of our packages. These are 100% home compostable once all paper courier labels have been removed. Cut them up  and place in your compost bin as “brown” materials. These will completely break down within 90-120 days in a home-compostable environment - sometimes even sooner!

The compostable HEROPACK shipping mailers are proudly certified as both Home and Commercially Compostable. The mailers hold certifications which meet the Australian standards (AS5810 and AS4736) administered by the Australasian Bioplastics Australia (ABA). HEROPACKS are made from home-compostable materials, mainly corn starch and PBAT (a compostable ingredient which bonds the renewable ingredients together). 

What happens if the bags end up in landfill?

The good news is they still break down in landfill, but, due to the nature of the landfill process, this will still add to methane production. The bags take about 2 years rather than 90 days to break down in landfill. In contrast, traditional plastic shipping mailers take 400 years or more to break down, and still release deadly methane gas into the atmosphere. Much better to compost at home or seek a commercial composter near you.

Don't forget also that our bags have "Re-Use Me" feature with an additional adhesive strip for your convenience.

 

Returns

All items are carefully checked for quality before they are are added to inventory and eventually shipped, however, if on arrival your purchase has a fault that you would like to discuss, please email us at hello@bubbabumz.com.au. 

We hope that you are thrilled with your purchases, but in the event that you are not completely happy we are here to discuss your concerns and offer a resolution be it a store credit, refund or exchange.
